Sawyer Bennett's brand new series of standalone romances! LOVE HURTS!

Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love.

Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she’s turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind.

Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. As Eden’s old flame—and the landscaper for her family’s historic home—Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he’s a goner. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.

5 out of 5 stars

This was an absolutely amazing second chance romance and I loved every single second. I couldn't get enough of Eden and Cooper. This was highly entertaining, super sweet, and ultra sexy.

I cannot begin to say enough good things. I loved Eden and Cooper. I was excited about everything and was inhaling every detail. I loved getting to learn about their past and watch them come back together in the present. It was emotional, there was a bit of angst, and I loved their awkward reunion. The development was excellent. All the details of them reconnecting and getting to know each other was great. I thought Cooper and Eden had great character development and I loved getting to see their past and present selves. They're both strong, independent characters, and I was rooting for them. I loved the conversations between Eden and Cooper, they were just so full of goodness and fun. You could feel their chemistry. It was awesome watching their connection grow as their attraction ignites.

Excellent writing and pace. I loved the dual POVs. The story was fun and sexy and super hot. I flew threw it because I didn't want to put it down but I tried to pace myself because I didn't want it to end. Besides the fun, there is a lot of emotion as well and bits of drama. There was a great blend of everything I love that kept the story moving along perfectly. Fantastic ending too. It was emotional with a heart stopping moment and the most perfect conclusion.

So entertaining with heartfelt moments. Fantastic writing, details, build, descriptions, humor, fun, and heat. Loved it all! I loved the first book, Sex in the Sticks, but I have to say that Jilted had a slightly different feel to me, a bit more emotional with a deeper connection between the main characters, and I have to say I loved it more! You can’t go wrong with Sawyer Bennett!
