It should come as no surprise that my Rock Chick adventures continued this month. I listened to Rock Chick Regret (my review). Hector and Sadie are one of my all-time favorite couples. After finishing I decided to mix it up a bit and listened to Mystery Man (my review), the first book in the Dream Man series. I made this decision after reading Quiet Man (Dream Man #4.5). Mo, who is the hero in Quiet Man and introduced in Mystery Man, but it had been a while and I didn't remember him (gasp!), so I decided I needed a refresher. I'm pretty sure I'll listen to the rest of the Dream Man series on audio after I finish up the Rock Chick series. I obviously have mad love for Kristen Ashley!

things-to-note
I hope August treated you well. School started here and I was anxious to get back to our regular schedule. We had three days of regular before our bathroom renovation began. Since then it's been a lot of banging, people in and out of our house, and the dog losing her ever-loving mind and barking constantly since strangers are in the house. We are on the tail end of everything and I am beyond ready to be done. I'm over mess and stress and crap everywhere... and sharing a bathroom with a 17-year-old.

That's about it for my August. School prep. School starting. Bathroom blah blah blah. I am pretty pleased with the fact I shared so many reviews. I have a feeling that's not going to happen in September, lol!

Happy Reading! Have a great month!
