Book Love + Links: Oct. 24, 2020 | About That Story

Book Love + Links is a fun feature where I share Book Love, which could be about anything that is book-related plus Links where I will be sharing things that are lifestyle-related like fun finds, products, recipes, and things I would recommend. Enjoy!

This week I shared a new review for The Bribe by Willa Nash. Besides loving the book, I got to use my cute Funko of Hopper from Stranger Things in the photo. Who would have thought I'd ever need a sheriff Funko, lol!

I treated myself to two new paperbacks. Free by Kristen Ashley and Wild Fire by Kristen Ashley. Y'all, Free is freaking huge! I can't wait to read this baby. It's been out a while but I put it off because the Chaos series is one of my all-time favorites and I just didn't want it to end.

Speaking of Kristen Ashley... have you grabbed your copy of After the Climb? It's free!* Looking for more free books? I've got a whole list here.

One of the latest books added to my TBR is Foreplayer by Kate Meader. Hello, sexy hockey player! This is the fourth book in the Rookie Rebels series. I loved Kate Meader's Chicago Rebel's series so I am looking forward to starting this series soon.

But wait! There is more TBR goodness to share. There were several more books that caught my eye that I'm super excited about. In no particular order: Sandcastle Beach by Jenny Holiday, Baking Me Crazy by Karla Sorensen, and Mathilda, SuperWitch by Kristen Ashley.

My husband and I are having a mini-binge of Prison Break on Hulu. I remember watching the series some years back and we devoured it. This time around with the final season is no different.

I made a Target run this week and found this cute brown and cream v-neck short sleeve shirt and fell in love with it. I'm a huge fan of shirts like this that I can pair with jeans or leggings and a cardigan. It's my go-to fall outfit.

I just wanted to share (what I think is) the best lotion for dry skin. It's CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I get some pretty dry, itchy skin on a regular basis and this stuff is like gold to me. I've used a ton of other lotions in the past that were a bit too smelly or left some weird residue, I always felt like I was constantly reapplying it. With CeraVe lotion, there's no crazy smell, it absorbs almost instantly, and I only use it in the morning and night. No more dry skin for this girl!

Looking for an alternative to canned "cream of..." soups? These are two of my favorites: Homemade Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup and Homemade Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup. I normally swap out the all-purpose flour in favor of King Arthur's White Whole Wheat Flour.
