February 2022 in Review

I feel like February always flies by! Before I know it, March is here and I'm looking forward to warmer weather. I read several fantastic books this month and showcased a few I'm really excited about. I was also thrilled to finally start the Immortals After Dark series, I have a feeling it will be my new addiction. Find my reviews and book goodness below.

February 2022 in Review | About That Story

The Bet (Winslow Brothers #1) by Max Monroe
Amazon | Full Review
The Bet was a fantastically fun and steamy ride! Seriously, Jude and Sophie were H O T hot! I loved the passion between them, the build to their feelings, and finding their way to a HEA. I had a blast reading it!

The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark #0.5) by Kresley Cole
I was so excited to finally start the Immortals After Dark series. The Warlord Wants Forever was an awesome introduction to a new world. I loved Myst and Nikolai, what was introduced for the series as a whole, and I’m excited to see where it all will go.

Just One Favor by Stephanie Rose
Just One Favor was an awesome read! I am a huge fan of enemies to lovers so I was excited to read this. I had a great time learning all about Tyler and Olivia and that animosity between them. It was entertaining, sweet, and sexy with a nice bit of angst mixed in. There’s also a mention of 9 months later in the synopsis and I was all in.

Wildcat (Mavericks Tackle Love #1) by Max Monroe
I had such a blast reading this! Wildcat was light and entertaining with the perfect amount of heat. There were so many humorous scenes that had me smiling and laughing, it just made me happy to read.

I received some pretty awesome book mail in February. Thank you to Entangled Publishing for The Best Kept Secret by Tawna FenskeAccidentally Perfect by Marrissa ClarkeThe Bachelor Betrayal by Maddison Michaels, and Ten Rules for Marrying a Duke by Michelle McLean. Thank you to Max Monroe for the paperbacks of Wildcat, Dr. OB, Dr. ER, and Dr. Neuro. Other books in the photo are ones I reviewed and had on my bookshelf or purchased.

My favorite way to reread books is to listen to them on audiobook. I feel like the story is completely new and fresh even though it's one I already know and love. In February, I listened to the following favorite:

What new releases are you excited about in March? I can't wait to read The Bully by Willa Nash. I'm also looking forward to the release of Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy and it's officially a favorite. What will be on your March TBR?
