October 2022 in Review

Another month down. I can't believe we're at the end of the year. Halloween is over, Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, and then Christmas. I am so not ready! At least there are a lot of books to look forward to. As for October, I had a low-key reading month but it was a good one for sure. Find the latest below.

Stop Ghosting Me by Tara Sivec
Stop Ghosting Me was a seriously great read filled with awesome characters, crazy shenanigans, a wild family, and a whole lot of fun. I loved getting to know Ford and Sydney and watching their October friendship grow into more. This was a super entertaining story that had me smiling the entire time.

The Last One You Loved by LJ Evans
The Last One You Loved was such a wonderful, heartfelt story filled with so much hope and healing. I loved learning all about Maddox and McKenna and watching them reconnect and fall in love all over again. This was a fantastic second chance romance!

Before the Storm: One Hot Night (Evidence: Under Fire #0.5) by Rachel Grant
Before the Storm: One Hot Night was a fantastic prequel novella. Great characters, hints of what’s to come, and a whole lot of heat! I am so freaking excited for more!

Vanishing Hour by Laura Griffin
Vanishing Hour was a great romantic suspense story to get lost in. I was invested the entire time, loved unraveling all the details, and watching Grant and Ava fall for each other. It had an incredible build that had me guessing until the very end!

October 2022 in Review | About That Story
Thank you Entangled Publishing and Avery Maxwell for the gifted books. Thanks to Alecia on Instagram as well. She hosted a giveaway and I won Bittersweet Promises. They're all so pretty!

My favorite way to reread books is to listen to them on audiobook. I feel like the story is entirely new and fresh even though I already know and love it. In October, I listened to the following favorites:

All Together Dead by Charlaine HarrisAmazon
Rock Bottom Girl by Lucy ScoreAmazon | Audiobook | My Review | Favorite Book of 2019

Just to add, when I say Rock Bottom Girl was a favorite of 2019, I mean it was an absolute FAVORITE! It was my first Lucy Score book and it was perfection. I can't begin to say enough good things about it and I highly recommend it.

things-to-note
The cover for Smoke and Steel by Kristen Ashley was released and freaking LOVE it! I am incredibly excited about the second book in the Wild West MC series which releases on December 6, 2022. The first book, Still Standing, was one of my favorites of 2021. Find my review HERE.

This month and next, I've got several books on my list that I'm excited to read including Off the Mark by Kathryn Nolan, This Woman by Jodi Ellen Malpas, and Smoke and Steel by Kristen Ashley. What are you looking forward to in November and December?

Here's to an amazing November! Happy reading!
