Night's Fall was one of my favorite reads of 2025, so to say I was excited for Sky's Edge is an understatement. It was an exciting read with fantastic banter, wonderful characters, and the ongoing storyline for The Four Realms series had me hooked! This is not to be missed!
Sky's Edge (Four Realms #2) by Kristen Ashley
Peace has been shattered in the Four Realms…
But Catla Truelock has bigger concerns.
Her father’s done what he’d been threatening to do. He’s arranged her marriage to a man not of Catla’s choice.
It’s the demon way, but Catla knows her new betrothed, and she doesn’t like him. He’s aloof. He’s arrogant. And he’s both in spades.
Tanyn, the new king of Sky’s Edge, feels differently about the half-demon beauty from Night’s Fall. He’s made his decision on who he wants to be his queen.
She’s perfect.
He simply has to convince her.
Tanyn sets about doing that, but he’s interrupted when his fiancée receives a death threat.
It’s then all the royals of the Four Realms understand that the danger is not over. For reasons unknown, there’s a sinister faction in their lands who’s targeting them, and the women who will rule at their sides.
Now, Tanyn has to keep his Catla safe, at the same time convincing her to wear his crown.
And Catla has to decide if she can leave everything she knows to be the bride of the handsome king in a land that is not her own.

Sky’s Edge was amazing! I hung on every word
as Catla and Tanyn came together. I loved the push-and-pull between them, their fiery chemistry, and the overarching storyline that continues throughout the
series. There were excellent details, great world-building, and surprises along
the way that had me on the edge of my seat. After finishing, I immediately wanted
to do a reread. I am loving the Four Realms series!
Catla and Tanyn were fantastic characters. She’s a
half-demon with a big heart but can be stubborn and was not happy with the idea
of an arranged marriage. Tanyn knows what he wants, and that’s Catla. I loved Tanyn’s
pursuit of her and how sweet he could be, and how Catla tried to put him off. I
could feel the tension and underlying passion between them, I couldn’t wait for everything
to come to a head. I loved the build as their feelings grew, they started to open
up, and the moment when the heat kicked in. I loved the back-and-forth between them
and the growth they both experienced.
I adored all of their friends and the different
relationships and bonds. I am excited about the couples that have been set up
and the twists and turns that were learned along the way. I loved them all
coming together in the midst of chaos. I liked meeting more of Tanyn’s friends and
those he considered family. I loved what they brought to the story and the
special moments that were created. I also enjoyed learning the dynamics and
nuances of the demon world and understanding Catla's relationship with her father.
I am loving this futuristic fantasy world Kristen Ashley
has created. There was drama and tension with an incredible build, and I was
all about it. I also loved the lighter scenes that added a lot of entertainment
value as well as heartfelt moments that had me choking up. While this is
technically a standalone, I do suggest reading these books in order. The world
building is exceptional, and you don’t want to miss a thing. While I am thrilled
Catla and Tanyn got their happily ever after, I’m even more excited about what’s
up next. With that ending, I need answers! Can’t wait! Loved this!
