Book Review: Married by Morning (The Hathaways #4) by Lisa Kleypas

I have wanted to read Cat and Leo's story since they first met and I was not disappointed. I loved the wit and banter and build to it all. It was an excellent read and a wonderful addition to The Hathaways series.

I loved Married by Morning so much! The Hathaway family, the world, all the amazing details, and the build, all these special moments and bonding of family and friends, it was all fantastic. This was a wonderful story to get lost in and I enjoyed every single second!

I adored Leo and his cutting wit and his scandalous words and self-deprecating humor. I loved watching him open up, love, and grow. I loved Catherine and had a million questions about her past. I loved learning those secrets, having her open up and spar with Leo. I love how Leo is so fascinated by her, drawn to her. They had this awesome antagonistic banter. I loved the building heat between them, the fun fight and push and pull that was happening. I loved the vulnerability in them when they finally start to open up and I got choked up several times. I could feel that chemistry between them growing and igniting. It was just all so good!

This family, the bonds, Catherine's relationship with her brother, how the men relate to one another, how the women connect, it's just perfection. There were so many great scenes that had me laughing and smiling. This was a well written, detailed story. Everything had such a smooth flow. I loved the descriptions, the humor, the drama, and the emotion. And that ending! I was on the edge of my seat! Absolutely incredible story. I can't get enough of Lisa Kleypas!

Technically these historical romance books by Lisa Kleypas are standalone's so you can read them in any order you want. The stories do have interconnected characters so it was suggested to me to start at the very beginning with The Wallflowers series. This way you can see all the characters grow and have kids. I am so glad I decided to do this, I loved the build, the overall character development and the flow of the world as it expands. If you are an "in order" person like me, I suggest the following reading order:

The Wallflowers Series - The Hathaways Series - The Ravenels Series 

I've officially read all three of these series but am behind on sharing my reviews. They're all so fantastic though, I can't begin to say enough good things.
