We're halfway through the year. How did that happen? I have read so many good books already in 2021 and added more to that list in June. I read some new to me authors and some tried and true favorites, check them out below.
The Time in Between (Magdalene #3) by Kristen Ashley
The Time in Between was exceptional! It was filled with so much emotion, healing, and love. Page after page I felt like my heart was going to explode. I loved Coert and Cady and the amazing journey they were. I was hooked from beginning to end.
Say No More (Sacramento #2) by Karen Rose
Say No More was a gripping, intense, and thrilling story that had me riveted from beginning to end. There was a fantastic build with amazing details filled with twists and turns that had me holding my breath, captivated. I am officially a Karen Rose fan!
Forever Starts Now by Stefanie London
This was a wonderful story and I had a blast reading it. I loved the entertaining vibe, the awesome banter, and fun characters. I loved the fake relationship aspect and how it grew into so much more. This story was filled with so much growth, healing, and love, and I enjoyed it all.
Follow Me Darkly (Follow Me #1) by Helen Hardt
Follow Me Darkly was super sexy, fast-paced, and entertaining. It was a light and easy read and I was excited to find out what would happen next.
Grumpy Cowboy (Single Dad Collection #3) by Max Monroe
Grumpy Cowboy was a fast-paced, entertaining read. I enjoyed Leah and Rhett and their verbal sparring and fun banter. I liked watching them butt heads in the beginning but then soften towards one another as feelings grow.
I feel like it had been forever since I listened to an audiobook. I was finally in the mood so I put on one of my favorites, Wild Man by Kristen Ashley. After that, I dove right into Tack and Tyra's story in Motorcycle Man. I feel like a broken record when I'm talking about KA but ya'll, she just does it for me!!! I can't get enough. Her books are my favorite to reread.
I received a paperback of It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey, which releases next month on July 13th (thank you Avon Books). I freaking loved this book and pretty much screamed when the paperback arrived. I also found out there's a second book in the series that will be coming out in March 2022 titled Hook, Line, and Sinker. Can't wait!
I have read one Sandra Brown book (Thick as Thieves) and I'm ready for more. Her next release, Blind Tiger, comes out on August 3, 2021. The year 1920 comes in with a roar in this rousing and suspenseful novel. Prohibition is the new law of the land, but murder, mayhem, lust, and greed are already institutions in the Moonshine Capitol of Texas. Bring it on!
One of my goals this summer is to read Idol by Kristen Callihan and Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey. These two books have been on my TBR for way too long. What books do you plan to read this summer?
I will be reading an arc of Say Goodbye by Karen Rose soon. I can't tell you how excited I am for the conclusion of the Sacramento series. After I'm finished, I plan to go back and start at the very beginning of her Romantic Suspense books.
