How good are you at keeping a secret?

Because I, Juniper Perry, have been keeping a big one.

For over a decade, I’ve been crushing on the guy with the easy smile, warm brown eyes, and charismatic charm. He’s all the perfect things that, when you add them up, spell out
Man of my dreams.

I know that doesn’t sound bad at all, but there’s more to this story...

We work together.
I’m a lowly intern, and he’s a high-powered executive.

He’s my newest neighbor.
No joke—he’s temporarily living next door to me.

And to top it all off, he’s my best friend’s older brother.

I’ve spent what feels like an eternity keeping my crush on him a secret, but recently, I’ve found a way to have him and my anonymity too. A way to chat and flirt and get close to him.

My best friend doesn’t know about these Midnight chats.

And
he doesn’t know I’m the girl he’s talking to night after night.

Beau Banks might be completely off-limits, but what happens at Midnight stays between us...

4 out of 5 stars

Meet Me at Midnight was entertaining, sweet, and sexy all rolled into one. I liked learning all about these characters, and their world, and watching them fall in love. There were fun scenes and bits of drama and emotion that had me hooked!

I liked Juniper and Beau a lot. I loved learning about Juniper’s unrequited crush on Beau and how she seized the opportunity to get to know him on a more personal level, thanks to the Midnight app. I liked learning about Beau as he fell for his Mystery Woman with the app and all the flirting, texting, and sexting that happened. I couldn't wait for Beau to figure out who his Mystery Woman was. After all was revealed, I loved Beau and June truly connecting, their stolen moments and building heat, and all the spice that was happening between.

There are obstacles along the way thanks to the best friend’s brother aspect which leads me to Avery, Beau’s sister and Juniper’s best friend. She’s over the top and owns it, and everyone lets her get away with it. It’s cute until it’s not, then it was just too much for me. While she was not my favorite person she did have her good moments, her story is next and I will definitely read it because I’m curious about where her character will go. There were some other things touched upon, issues with Juniper’s family, Beau’s ex, and him with a coworker. I liked the added drama but it didn’t feel like it went anywhere by the end, making it fall flat for me.

I thought there was a great pace and loved the fact it was dual POV. There were a lot of fun moments involved that had me giggling, some of that thanks to Avery's crazy behavior. The thing is, even though I had a few issues, I had a hard time putting it down because I was invested and couldn't wait for Beau and Juniper to get their HEA. It made for a totally enjoyable read!
