Book Review: Mac Meyers Needs Me by Helena Hunting

Mac and Fee were the cutest! I loved their banter and flirting and the build of them coming together. The spice was spicing too! Mac Meyers Needs Me is a wonderful addition to the Tilton University series!

Mac Meyers.
My secret crush.
Most unattainable guy on campus.
Relentless flirt (except with me).

Being friends with the guy on campus that everyone wants comes with its own set of problems.

None of us can eat in the cafeteria without being interrupted ten times.
Well, I’ve had enough.

So the most unhinged thing comes out of my mouth: I tell them to leave my boyfriend alone.
Except Mac is not my boyfriend.
Not even close.

Until he looks at me like I have the most inspired idea.

My name is Ophelia Forrest-Hammer, and Mac Meyers wants to be my fake boyfriend.
But I wish he was my real one.

4 out of 5 stars

Mac Meyers Needs Me was a fun story with wonderful details and I was hooked. Mac and Fee had me swooning, laughing, and feeling all the things. I loved learning about their crushes, the fake dating, and the development of their relationship. Add in all their friends and found family, and I couldn’t read this fast enough!

Mac and Fee were so cute together! Fee stepping in to help Mac had me giggling. I loved how they came up with the fake-dating scenario and watching them grow closer because of it. I felt for them as I learned about their past, especially Fee. I loved them opening up, being vulnerable, and being there for one another. This was filled with a lot of entertaining scenes! I loved their banter and flirting and the build-up to the heat. I was a fan of Mac and his mouth! They have some ups and downs because of upcoming life changes, and I liked the bits of low-key drama it added.

I love this word the author has created. I love Mac and Fee’s friends and all the different bonds. I loved seeing more of the guys and watching them grow as well, especially Gage. I’m looking forward to his story. I also liked Fee’s friends and how supportive they were. I loved seeing Fee’s sister Lexi again and adored how much their relationship has evolved. There were lots of favorites from the Terror series making appearances as well, which thrilled me, and a few others that had me excited.

I thought this was a fantastic read. It was sweet and easy with a good amount of spice and emotion. Great addition to the Tilton University series!
