May 2022 in Review

Another month has gone by in 2022, which means I had another month full of great reads. I was excited to read a few new-to-me authors and go back to revisit a favorite series. Needless to say, May was pretty awesome! Check out my latest reviews, several new releases, and what's coming soon below.

The Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate (Five Packs #1) by Cate C. Wells
The Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate made for an awesomely entertaining shifter romance that had me enthralled with the characters, the pack dynamics, and intricate details. It was a new and exciting world to get lost in. I loved it all!

Neanderthal Seeks Duchess (London Ladies Embroidery #1) by Laney Hatcher
Neanderthal Seeks Duchess was a totally entertaining and delightful historical romance. It had a fun, light vibe with excellent characters and a great storyline. I loved learning about the mysterious Lord Dashing and watching him and Jane come together with a wonderful HEA.

Royally Remembered (Royally #4.6) by Emma Chase
I thought I knew what to expect, I thought I was prepared, but I don't think anything could have prepared me for the beauty and emotion this book was filled with. Filled me with. The short stories in Royally Remembered are a stunning tribute to Lenora and Edward, their life, legacy, and love. It was truly incredible.

Starry-Eyed Love (Spark House #2) by Helena Hunting
Starry-Eyed Love was an entertaining story filled with heartfelt and sweet moments and I really enjoyed reading it. I loved watching the spark grow between London and Jackson and turn into so much more. I liked their fun dialogue, all their ups and downs, and their wonderful HEA.

Oops, I've Fallen by Max Monroe
The wit, the fun, the snark… I couldn't get enough of Oops, I’ve Fallen. I laughed and smiled my way through this. This story was filled with entertaining moments, hilarious dialogue, and awesome characters. I never wanted it to end!

I received several paperbacks in May. I have officially added Royally Remembered by Emma Chase, Beauty and the Baller by Ilsa Madden-Mills, Rival Radio by Kathryn Nolan, and Neanderthal Seeks Duchess by Laney Hatcher to my collection, as well as A Matter of Temptation by Stacy Reid and First Bride to Fall by Ginny Baird from Entangled Romance. Thank you to the authors and publisher for gifting me so much awesomeness.

My favorite way to reread books is to listen to them on audiobook. I feel like the story is completely new and fresh even though it's one I already know and love. In May, I listened to the following favorite:

Walk Through Fire by Kristen AshleyAmazon | Audiobook | My Review | Favorite Book of 2015

things-to-note
It won't be long and Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score will be available for all to read. I was lucky enough to get an early copy of this book and I am so excited for everyone to read it - I can't say enough good things. It's one of my favorites this year! This book releases on June 21, 2022.

The Masters of Love series by Leisa Rayven is one of my FAVORITES so I am counting the days until the release of the third book, Doctor Love. And by favorite, I mean both Mister Romance and Professor Feelgood were 6-star reads! Seriously phenomenal!!! If you haven’t read this series yet, I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Doctor Love releases on June 7, 2022.
