Book Review: Beautiful Exile by Catherine Cowles

It's officially release day for Beautiful Exile. I can't wait for everyone to meet Lincoln and Arden in the fourth book in the Sparrow Falls series. I loved every second of these two coming together, it was a fantastic story.

Beautiful Exile was an exciting and captivating story that had me on the edge of my seat! I loved the emotion and intensity, the building drama and suspense, and I loved the vulnerability as Arden and Lincoln let each other in, and the passion growing between them. I couldn’t read this fast enough and never wanted it to end. This was another fantastic story in the Sparrow Falls series!

The moment Arden and Lincoln first met was priceless and I was excited to get to know them. I loved learning their history and hurt for them as the details came out. I felt for Arden and why she hid from the world and I hurt for Lincoln too about his hard upbringing and his past loss. I loved the instant connection Lincoln had with Arden and how she was so thrown by her feelings for him. I loved the growth and healing that Arden experienced as she battled her demons. I loved all the special moments they had, the pull between them, and their off-the-chart chemistry. All this was happening while mysterious and dangerous things were occurring around Arden and I loved how Lincoln was there for her as her protector.

There was excellent development with the drama surrounding Arden and I was hooked. I loved the details and build. Tensions were high, the suspense was amping up and I was guessing who the bad guy could be the entire time. I was holding my breath as it all played out. There are twists and turns along the way and I was filled with anticipation for all to be revealed. While there was a good amount of suspense and drama, there were a lot of entertaining scenes as well and I thought it balanced nicely.

I am so I love with the Colson family! I love Lolli, she cracks me up. Nora is a gem and I love all the siblings, their texts, and the bonds they have. I also enjoyed meeting Lincoln’s sister Ellie and am excited about where her story will go with Trace.

From start to finish, I loved the inviting characters, the mystery, the spicey scenes, and all the heartfelt moments and love. This story is not to be missed!
