I finished up one of my favorite books, Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley (my review) and then started with Own the Wind (my review). As much as I loved Own the Wind, the narrator was not for me and I only got through about half of it. I might have to finish the second half by actually rereading it on my Kindle so I can carry on with the rest of the series via audio. I've listened to those before and they were winners, Own the Wind was the only one I hadn't though. Anyway! Moving on.

Next up was Rock Chick Reawaking (my review - I've obviously got a thing for Kristen Ashley). I forgot how emotional this story was. I loved Marcus and Daisy's story!

I'm finished off the month and headed into November by listening to Rock Bottom Girl by Lucy Score (my review). This book has been one of my FAVORITES this year and was THRILLED when I found out it was finally available in audio. I snatched it up and started listening as soon as I could. If you've not read this story, I highly recommend it.

things-to-note
I think the month of October is the most normal I have felt since our bathroom fiasco started in June. I was so happy to finally get the new mirror up and get on with our lives. My sexy DIY'er of a husband took on some small jobs - which are almost done - but we are back to normal. Thank goodness!!!

We had a pretty low key Halloween since there are no little kids left in the house. Now it's time to get ready for November birthdays (my youngest and me - woot!) and prepare for Thanksgiving. My son and I share back to back birthdays and my day actually falls on Thanksgiving Day this year. I wonder if I can talk them into pizza? lol!

Hope you all had a wonderful October. Here's to a fantastic November!

What were some of your favorite reads this past month? Let me know!!!
