I was so excited to read Gabriel and Pandora's story and it did not disappoint. Knowing that Sebastion (one of my all-time favorite heroes) was Gabriel's father was like icing on the cake! Devil in Spring was a wonderful addition to The Ravenels series. :-)
Devil in Spring (The Ravenels #3) by Lisa Kleypas
An eccentric wallflower…
Most debutantes dream of finding a husband. Lady Pandora Ravenel has different plans. The ambitious young beauty would much rather stay at home and plot out her new board game business than take part in the London Season. But one night at a glittering society ball, she’s ensnared in a scandal with a wickedly handsome stranger.
A cynical rake…
After years of evading marital traps with ease, Gabriel, Lord St. Vincent, has finally been caught-by a rebellious girl who couldn’t be less suitable. In fact, she wants nothing to do with him. But Gabriel finds the high-spirited Pandora irresistible. He’ll do whatever it takes to possess her, even if their marriage of convenience turns out to be the devil’s own bargain.
A perilous plot…
After succumbing to Gabriel’s skilled and sensuous persuasion, Pandora agrees to become his bride. But soon she discovers that her entrepreneurial endeavors have accidentally involved her in a dangerous conspiracy—and only her husband can keep her safe. As Gabriel protects her from their unknown adversaries, they realize their devil’s bargain may just turn out to be a match made in heaven...

This was such an entertaining read. I love the Ravenel family! I loved Pandora and Gabriel, they were so intriguing and I enjoyed their challenge with one another. It was exciting to read!

Pandora was someone I always saw as a bit flighty and didn't
know much about her so I really liked getting to know her, her history, and see
who she really was. I loved her! She's a feisty, independent young woman with hopes
and dreams and she’s incredibly determined. Gabriel is so wonderful and totally
as swoon-worthy as his father. Gabriel and Pandora have a unique first meeting.
Pandora’s a bit naïve so it was fun as Gabriel pursued her and she experienced
so many firsts. Gabriel was just so enthralled by her and I loved watching his
feelings grow as he became more enamored.
I loved seeing Evie and Sebastian once again, they’re one of
my all-time favorite couples (their book is Devil in Winter, The Wallflowers #3). I loved their updates, meeting Gabriel’s sister,
and I can’t wait to read her story. I enjoyed meeting the characters for the
next book and am fascinated by the hero and what was hinted at.
The writing was great. Lisa Kleypas is an amazing
storyteller. I liked Pandora and Gabriel coming together, it was
sweet, fun, and flirty, and I liked that building heat between them. This
one might have felt a bit slower in places to me but all in all, it was a
fantastic read. A wonderful addition to the series.

Technically these historical romance books by Lisa Kleypas are standalone's so you can read them in any order you want. The stories do have interconnected characters so it was suggested to me to start at the very beginning with The Wallflowers series. This way you can see all the characters grow and have kids. I am so glad I decided to do this, I loved the build, the overall character development and the flow of the world as it expands. If you are an "in order" person like me, I suggest the following reading order:
The Wallflowers Series - The Hathaways Series - The Ravenels Series
I've officially read all three of these series but am behind on sharing my reviews. They're all so fantastic though, I can't begin to say enough good things.
